When people marry, love is not their only consideration.
Work. Where to live. Family. Finances. Children. Age. And the life ahead.

For women in particular, there are times when it is difficult to feel that marriage and childbirth can happen whenever they choose. In a sense, there are periods in a woman’s life when she is acutely aware of the sand running through the hourglass. Within those circumstances, she makes the best choice for who she is at that time.

But that is not a contract stating that she will never want anything else for the rest of her life.

Even after spending days deliberating over which company to join upon graduating from university, you may want to change careers ten years later. That does not mean your original decision was wrong. You have simply changed since then.

Marriage may be much the same.

You do not want to destroy the life you have. You have not come to dislike your family. Nor do you want to reject your husband.

But sometimes you may think, “I want to feel deeply desired as a woman again,” or “I want to become someone different from the person I am in everyday life.”

We only have one life, and we cannot turn back time. So while cherishing the life you have now, how should you handle the feelings that still remain within you? It is all right to ask yourself that question.
